As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, plus Fitness and Nutrition expert, I will create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals. Most approaches to healthy eating dwell on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes. I believe the food you eat has a direct impact not only on how you look and feel but your overall health. Eating should be enjoyed and we should eat to live not live to eat! Creating restrictions or controls around food is not living nor is it healthy and it doesn’t teach our children the right habits!

Through the work I do I have seen a rise in the number of children being critical of their body as well as being food conscious and the most alarming trend is children are becoming more body conscious at an earlier age and eating disorders are becoming more common, especially in boys. 

Benefits of Exercising When Pregnant

Studies show women who exercised during their pregnancy, maintained their fitness that they had before their baby, put on the recommended weight for pregnancy (approx. 25-35 pounds, depending on pre-pregnancy weight, lifestyle and body type) and were able to get back into their fitness regime earlier and easier.
